Installation Manual

This application requires a Desktop/Laptop or any platform that supports this application. 
Runs on WindowsXP/Window Vista/Windows 7 and also Mac.
Requires Ram higher than 512mb for smoother animation and loading. 

Installation Manual
1. Go to working files folder and click on new_index.exe.
2. Make sure you have a Flash player installed in your platform, if not, get installed with the included Flash     player in this folder.
3. Exit the application by clicking on the exit button on the right top. 

Synopsis

Indian Wedding

Indian Wedding is an application consists of the full background and details about an Indian wedding. It is an informative based video application where the user can interact with the video while it is playing. User can choose to view the information while the video of an Indian wedding plays.

Basically, this application consists of three main links which are Video, Fact & Rituals and Gallery. The Video link will play the video and the user will able to click on the hotspots displayed for more info on the scene or rituals. Meanwhile, the Fact & Rituals link will display a menu for the user to choose from. The menu will display few other links which the user can click and gain other information about the ceremony. Finally, the Gallery links are collection of the wedding ceremony photos which are another option for the user to view other than the video and the information.

As the world evolves, the cultures and rituals are not performed and heritage in proper. Some rituals are being ignored as they don’t see the meaning behind it and the purpose of it.  A proper explanation and meaning behind of every rituals and ceremony are given in order for good cultures, family values, emotions and traditions and cultural ethics to be heritage for future generations.

Besides that, a ceremony with proper explanation will be done with good emotions and happiness. Culture and heritage are meant to be preserved and protected for the future generations. Current lifestyles and adoption of western culture created awareness in the artist’s perception. Therefore, this is an initiate step to promote one’s own culture and also for better understanding of oneself.

The exhibition was a blast and tiring too. Yet all of us enjoyed the days! There were alot of visitors and it was a good response from them. Visitors from National Art Gallery was very cheerful and curious with our projects and responded with our explanations.

Finally, I am done with my final year project completely. Left with submitting the hard-copy DVD of my project to my lecturers. Some of my classmates already started their career life and some with a number of interviews in hand. Good luck and All the Best People! Love ya all!

Setting Up

Setting up was easy with the help of my dear friends. I started to setup after lunch hours after the presentation with the help of my roommate, classmates and my brother. After fixed the screen on the wall and drilled the keyboard holder, I brought down my PC and start setting up to check weather everything working fine. By 4pm, I already done setting up and eagerly waiting for the next day. Here is some snaps during the setting up.

Today 10.50-11.00a.m was my slot to present my final year presentation. The presentation was smooth and fast. I presented with full confidence and with the happiness that I am done with the presentation. Here are the some shots of me presenting. 

After presentation, I had to get back to the studio to setup for my exhibition the next day.

Final Presentation

I am finally unofficially done with my final year project. I presented my full application to my lecturer and they seems to like it and satisfied with it. So I am considered done! Here are some the picture taken during my presentation, too bad no one to take pictures when I was presentation, so here is the rough setup. Using my laptop and my speakers, I managed to present completely.

After the presentation on 5 may 2011, on the 7 May 2011, the lecturers announced that the list on students exhibiting and I found my name in the list, so thats means I am exhibiting my application! Yahoo! It's gone be fun! Here is the layout of the exhibition.

Finalized Poster

This is my finalized poster, I remain my original poster design earlier. Thus time is bigger in size and horizontal. I took less than hour to complete this poster because I was busier with my application and how to get it done.
